Suspension, clutch and timing for SUVs and vans

Heavy work, done properly

Iron Garage is a workshop for the jobs that put a vehicle up on the lift: suspension and steering, clutch and flywheel, timing, brakes and the drivetrain of SUVs, 4x4s and light vans. Inspection and an indicative price first, then the tools come out.

  • Play found by hand, not assumed
  • Nothing extra without your approval
  • Timing locked with the engine's own tools
  • Repair status through a personal link

Another garage wanted to fit a new rack. Here they found two tie rod ends with play and showed me by hand on the lift.

They measured the flywheel before offering one. It was within limits, so I only paid for the clutch.

Before a trip with a trailer they did an inspection and told me what could wait and what couldn't. No upselling.
